Christy & Amos Snoddy - Directors
Christy Snoddy has been part of the pageant world since 1986 when she and her mother, Rita Corwin won Alaska’s Mother/Daughter Pageant. Christy is a former Miss Alaska American Coed titleholder and Top 10 National winner.
Christy has competed in multiple modeling and talent competitions and has choreographed productions for over 25 years.
A graduate of Alaska Pacific University with a BA in Marketing and Business, Christy enjoys everything outdoors, especially 4-wheeling in the backwoods with family and friends.
Christy and Amos met in high school and reconnected years later in church. They have been married 14 years, have a blended family of 6 grown children, and are proud grandparents of 9.
Amos works in sales for Quest Diagnostics and Christy works for Medronic Diabetes in medical sales. She owns multiple businesses to include Beyond Crowns; Platforms with a Purpose and Uncommon Events LLC; planning weddings, showers, community socials, and fundraising for local organizations and charities.
When not working you will find them remodeling residential projects, camping, entertaining family and friends and traveling in their spare time.
Rita Corwin - Co - Director
Having directed the pageant for more then 30 years. Rita is proud to pass the directorship to Christy & Amos Snoddy and take on the position of Co-Director.
Rita had the honor of being named MRS. AMERICA PAGEANT DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR during the 2010 Mrs. America Pageant. She and Christy have had 5 National Winner's as a Director. Mrs. Alaska America 2012, Vicki Sarber, Miss American Teen 1992, Kristina Bellamy, Miss American Coed 1996, Shara Crandall, Beauties of America 30's Division and Beauties of America 60's Division and several Top 5 Winner's Circle. Miss Alaska Mother Daughter Top 5.

Over $500,000 in awards, prizes and scholarships have been distributed under her direction.
Her experience also includes producing the Alaska Teen expo, fashion and talent shows, pageant/modeling coaching and inspirational speaker. She is a former "Mrs. Alaska of the Year" and "Mrs. Alaska United Nations" where she placed in the "Top 10" at the National Competition.
